Guided tours on weekends

Duration (unless otherwise specified) about 1 hour
Bird call excursion about 2 hours
Meeting point (will be indicated in each case): in front of the greenhouse entrance or in the winter season mostly in hall A (entrance hall of the greenhouses)
Participation in the guided tours in the program with a valid admission ticket (except open-air tours in the winter season), in some cases plus a participation fee (indicated accordingly in the guided tours).

The guides are paid directly, they collect the fee themselves before the start of the guided tours. Unless otherwise stated, participation in the guided tours is free of charge.

Please note: The majority of our guided tours are in German. Tours in English/Spanish/Italian may be booked.

Guided tours for private groups

It is possible to arrange guided tours for private groups and on special topics for a fee (max. 20 people). Please book three weeks in advance. Information on costs and dates by phone 089 17861-321 or e-mail botgart@snsb.de.

Due to high demand during the butterfly exhibition period (13 December 2025 to 8 March 2026) we do not offer private tours. Thank you for your understanding.
