Flowers and Music – Sunday Matinees 2026

For many years, the Sängerkreis München has set a musical accent in the summer program of the Botanical Garden with its Sunday matinees. On Sundays, choirs of the Sängerkreis München perform at the Ornamental Yard and delight visitors with choral music.

The Sängerkreis München e.V. comprises over 100 choirs and ensembles with more than 3,000 active singers. The musical spectrum ranges from the renaissance to jazz and pop, the ensemble size from quartets to large mixed choirs with over 100 members, from dedicated amateur choirs to ensembles of the highest professional quality. The concert repertoire is correspondingly diverse and varied.

Program 2026

The program for 2026 has not yet been finalized. The matinees will start in mid-May.

Sunday, 11.30 – 13.30 a.m.
The program is subject to change. In case of bad weather the event can be moved inside in the winter hall.
