Refugees from Ukraine now receive free admission to the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Garden
April 19, 2022
From Monday, April 19, 2022, those who had to flee Ukraine will receive free admission to the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Garden.
Every day, many refugees, mainly women and children, arrive in the Bavarian capital to seek protection and refuge from the war in Ukraine. As a sign of humanity and to give the refugees the opportunity to get some rest, Ukrainian citizens can visit the Botanical Garden free of charge during regular opening hours upon presentation of a valid Ukrainian passport or an officially issued proof of arrival or registration.
The garden is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the summer season. The corona-related access rules are lifted, but it is recommended to wear a mouth-nose protection indoors and to keep the distance rule of 1,50 m.
