Flowers and their pollinators
Family event in cooperation with the Museum Educational Center Munich (MPZ).
The family events offered by the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Garden in cooperation with the Museum Educational Center as part of the Flower Power Festival are all about flowers. There are always new things to discover in the garden’s varied flower beds in spring, summer and fall. It is an experience for the whole family to get to know plants and their blossoms with their diverse scents, colors and shapes. Among other things, the question is explored as to why plants produce this splendor of blossoms and who actually are the addressees of the different visual and olfactory signals. With this knowledge, plants and their world can be better understood.
For families with children from 7 years of age with Dr. Kathrin Kurbasik.
Flowers attract pollinators in many ways. After the tour, a butterfly is made.
