Floral summer impressions
Korean floral stylists present floral art
Special exhibition in collaboration with the Fachverband Deutscher Floristen, Landesverband Bayern und and Lockyoung Korea Floral Design.
European floristry has long been inspired by Asian floral art and is equally an inspiration for many floral artists in Asia, especially in South Korea.
The Bavarian Florists’ Association FDF-LV-Bayern has been cooperating with the Korea Floral Design Academy under the direction of Rockyoung Kim for over ten years. Twelve of his students first completed several preparatory floristry seminars in Korea and are now coming to Munich for the final ‘Floral Stylist’ seminar, which will last three and a half weeks.
The exam topics are still secret, but you can already look forward to extraordinary floral creations that will transform the Winter hall into a place of delicate floral art.
More about qualification ‘Floral Stylist’
‘Floral Stylist’ is the highest IHK-certified qualification that foreign florists can achieve in Germany if they have little or no knowledge of German. Our clear design theory, which sets rules but offers a great deal of freedom for individual creativity, is particularly exciting for the Korean women.
Participants have around five days to develop their three final projects, create structures and practise. In the exam, they design their work under time pressure – under the watchful eye of a certified Chamber of Industry and Commerce examination board.
